The upcoming July webinar, “Geosynthetics Installation Best Practice and IAGI’s Role,” will introduce the International Association of Geosynthetic Installers (IAGI) and highlight its contribution to improving installation quality across the geosynthetics industry.
The session will provide an overview of IAGI’s history, membership, and core services, with a strong focus on addressing industry-wide challenges related to installation quality. Key initiatives such as the newly developed Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Best Practice Manual, the Accredited Installer Certification (AIC) program, and the Certified Welding Technician (CWT) program will be presented as tools to improve standards and consistency on projects.
The webinar will also explore the role of proctors in quality assurance, as well as IAGI’s ongoing engagement through its website and LinkedIn platform. Attendees will gain practical insights into best practice approaches and current issues affecting geosynthetics installation.
